To: Mehdi Ben Gharbia, Tunisia Minister for Relations with Constitutional Bodies and Civil Society

The Tunisian Government has recently committed to ban "anal testing", a traumatising form of sexual assault used by authorities to find “evidence” of someone’s sexual orientation.

I urge you to keep your promise and end this horrifying practices once and for all.

This campaign has ended.

If you're arrested under Tunisia’s anti-gay law, authorities can force you to undergo "anal testing." They claim it’s an examination to find "evidence" of your sexual orientation. It's actually a traumatising sexual assault that proves absolutely nothing.

Over 45,000 All Out members around the world signed a petition asking the National Council of the Medical Order in Tunisia to ban "anal tests".

And something amazing just happened: the Tunisian government accepted a recommendation from the UN and promised to put an end to this horrifying practice. It's a first step, but it's unlikely they will see it through unless they know the world is watching.

Momentum is on our side. Will you tell the Tunisian government to keep their promise and end "anal tests" once and for all?
