Patrick Mulyanti fled Uganda after his boyfriend was murdered and his face was plastered in a tabloid, announcing he was wanted for being gay.

He is about to be deported from Sweden because authorities claim he couldn’t "prove" his sexuality.

This is not an isolated case. Many lesbian, gay, bi, and trans people are being treated the same way by Swedish authorities.

We urge you to stop Patrick’s deportation immediately and implement better training for migration staff working on LGBT+ asylum cases.

Patrick is being deported from Sweden – because authorities say he couldn't "prove" that he is gay.

He fled Uganda after his boyfriend was murdered and his face was published in the largest national tabloid, just for being gay.

Many LGBT+ asylum seekers are put through degrading and inhumane processes to "prove" their sexualities. Many are sent straight back into danger.

If thousands of people speak up, we can stop Patrick's deportation and ensure future LGBT+ asylum seekers in Sweden are spared such a degrading experience.

This campaign is being run in partnership with the Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer rights and HBT-liberaler.
