Help us continue saving lives in Colombia
Seven years ago, a Colombian boy named Sergio Urrego took his own life after months of being bullied at school for being gay. He was only 16 years old.
After his death, his mother Alba created the Sergio Urrego Foundation, which seeks to protect LGBT+ youth from violence and bullying.
An important part of this work is the Línea SalvaVidas, a 24/7 emergency helpline for young people in at-risk situations – such as having suicidal ideations, being discriminated at school or victims of domestic violence. Since the helpline was created, in 2019, it has saved the lives of more than 6,000 people.
But the requests for help are increasing and the resources to continue operating are no longer enough. That's why we need your help!
With your donation, we will ensure that this project continues to save lives in Colombia and give psychological help to thousands of LGBT+ youth.
