Hate has no place in Ireland

To: Charles Flanagan, Minister for Justice and Equality

U.S. pastor Steven Anderson is known for promoting anti-gay hate and violence. He celebrated the Orlando massacre saying that there were now "50 less paedophiles in this world".

Now he plans to come to Dublin to spread hate against LGBT+ people.

Hate has no place in Ireland: Stop Steven Anderson from promoting his hate-mongering in Ireland by denying him entry to the country.

Update - May 13, 2019: Victory in Ireland! Anti-gay U.S. pastor Steven Anderson has been banned from Ireland after more than 25,000 All Out members asked the Irish government to deny him entry to the country.

Irish Minister for Justice, Charlie Flanagan, took a stand to defend and protect the safety, dignity and families of LGBT+ people in Ireland by applying an exclusion order that has never been used in Irish history before.

All Out's members, LGBT Ireland, GCN and the Minister have all sent a clear message that murderous hatred has no home in Ireland.

Anderson has already been banned from the U.K., South Africa (also thanks to All Out members!), Malawi, Canada, Jamaica and most other European Union countries.

"50 less paedophiles in this world." Those were the disgusting words U.S. Pastor Steven Anderson used to "celebrate" the massacre at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

If that wasn’t outrageous enough, Anderson is now planning to go to Ireland to spread his hate. But we can stop him in his tracks.

Together we can get Charles Flanagan, the Minister of Justice, to block Steven Anderson from entering the country. If thousands around the world join in solidarity with our call, authorities won’t be able to ignore us.

Sign now and help us keep Pastor Steven Anderson out of Ireland.
