Support this shelter for LGBT+ youth in Mexico City
Can you imagine not having a place to sleep, take a shower, or even eat a meal? Now add in a global pandemic.
That was suddenly the reality for many young LGBT+ people in Mexico City this year. When the lockdown began, they were thrown out of their homes, or had to flee, because their families didn't accept them.
So a group of activists opened Casa Frida as temporary shelter to support homeless LGBT+ youth during the pandemic. But the crisis is far from over.
They received death threats and had to suddenly move locations. And now, Casa Frida's resources are running out just as a second coronavirus wave is hitting the country. But your donation today can help them keep going for at least one more year.
